If you’re looking for a place to eat a hot dog, hang out with friends and watch the fireworks this year, you won’t want to miss the 4th of July Celebrations in Bel Air. This free event takes place every year, and it includes a wide variety of activities for residents of all ages.
The day begins with the flag raising ceremony in honor of the area’s disabled veterans, and then it features a pancake breakfast at Bel Air High School. Music, tours and patriotic games for children will take place at the Hays House, Bel Air’s oldest house, and then there will be face painting, water balloon fights and a costume contest at nearby Shamrock Park. The 4th of July parade will begin at 6 p.m., and then at 9:30 p.m., the celebrations really begin with the 4th of July fireworks lighting up the night sky!
