On July 23, the banks of the Susquehanna River will be the backdrop for one of Harford County’s most anticipated summer events: the Blues and Brews Festival, which is held at the historic Steppingstone Farm Museum. This summer festival showcases some of the region’s most popular live music, including performers like blues trio Blue Jay Slim and the Tone Blasters, soul and R&B act Markey Blue, and New Orleans-inspired band Zydeco-a-Go-Go.
Bring a blanket or your folding chairs and stake out your spot on the lawn behind the Steppingstone Farm Museum if you want to enjoy a whole day’s worth of music, fresh air, and community fun. You can bring a picnic lunch or sample some of the offerings from the local food trucks a variety of breweries and wineries. Advanced tickets are on sale until July 8, with VIP passes (including drink tickets, reserved seating and priority parking) also available online.
