“Les Petits Bisous” may literally mean “little kisses,” but in and around Havre de Grace it’s translated as “a well-loved local bakery.” Four years ago, Wanda Boker left a two-decade career in international human rights projects to found her own little pastry shop producing the macarons, eclairs, and scones that she enjoyed when she lived in Paris. Today, Wanda presides over a successful small business with a steady stream of repeat customers.
The macarons are made on-site daily in flavors like chocolate with sea salt, green tea with white chocolate ganache, and vanilla custard, alongside a rotating specialty flavor (you can even sign up for a monthly macaron club). The shop’s éclair selection changes each day, with flavors like vanilla cream, lemon, white chocolate and more available in gluten-free and traditional varieties. Scones are made fresh every weekend, and are only available while supplies last, so be sure to arrive early on Sundays.
