Happy hour at The Greene Turtle has something for everyone. Three-dollar domestic pints, $4 margaritas and glasses of wine, and $5 crushes are on the menu Monday through Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. to close. The happy hour specials also include half-priced appetizers, so you can grab a bite to soak up the booze.
If you decide to stick around for dinner after happy hour, try one of the house specialties. They’re all stick-to-you-ribs dishes inspired by Southern comfort food. Sink a fork into the Cajun pasta, a nearly overflowing plate of penne with mushrooms, tomato, scallions, your choice of protein, and a creamy Cajun Alfredo sauce—plus a toasted soft pretzel, “for clean-up.” The hand-breaded chicken tenders are another classic creation, all-natural chicken coated with house-made batter and deep-fried to perfectly crunchy. They come with the house’s smoky barbecue sauce, fries, and slaw.
