What’s your favorite thing about Aberdeen?

Our favorite things about Aberdeen are that it is an up and coming neighborhood with a wide range demographic.  There is going to be a lot of new development here in the next few years.  Aberdeen also is very conveniently located near I-95, shopping, dining, and entertainment.  Aberdeen also has baseball games at Ripken Stadium, and the baseball player Cal Ripken is from Aberdeen.  Aberdeen has a suburban, small town feel.  Aberdeen is also conveniently located near Aberdeen Proving Ground.  There are also great schools in Aberdeen, including a magnet program- The Science and Math Academy- at Aberdeen High School.

Maryland is home to a lot of great cities and destinations—what is your favorite Maryland attraction?

Some of our favorite Maryland attractions include the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Orioles Games at Camden Yards, Ravens Games at M&T Bank Stadium, National Aquarium in Baltimore, and Maryland Zoo in Baltimore.  We also enjoy visiting Washington DC.

If you only had one day in the Baltimore area, what would you do?

If we had one day in the Baltimore area, we would go out to dinner in the Inner Harbor (maybe to Fogo de Chao).  After dinner, we would catch an Orioles game at Camden Yards!

Where do you see Aberdeen in a few years?

Aberdeen is the next up and coming area!  It is developing quickly and there are more jobs coming to the Aberdeen area.  Also, in the next few years, we will have more shopping and restaurants!

What are your favorite places to get away for a weekend?

Our favorite place to get away for the weekend is the beach!  We love going to Ocean City, Maryland; Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; and Bethany Beach, Delaware.

What’s your favorite dinner spot nearby the Yards?

Some of our favorite local dinner spots include The Olive Tree, La Tolteca, The Greene Turtle, and Bull on the Beach.

Any exciting developments that residents of The Yards at Fieldside Village can expect?

A brand new shopping center is being built right down the street from our property in the next few years.  The shopping center will offer shopping, dining, and entertainment to our residents.

In the next few months, we will also be getting a Car Wash Area, Playground, Fire Pit, and more BBQ grilling stations at our community!

Aberdeen has a pretty big military presence—thanks to the Aberdeen Proving Ground—why is The Yards the best place in Aberdeen for someone who works at the Proving Ground?

The Yards is the best place in Aberdeen for someone who works at the Proving Ground because we are the only luxury apartment community in Aberdeen.  We are also the newest community in Aberdeen.  We are a brand new community and we have very modern apartments with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops in every apartment.  We also are the closest luxury property to the base.  We also have the best location, since we are right off of I-95!  Some other amenities that we have are elevators in every building, BBQ grills, 24 hour fitness center, 24 hour business center, no amenity fees, and free Starbucks coffee, tea and hot chocolate 24 hours a day!  All of our apartments have open floorplans, are very roomy, and have a home-like feel!
