Escape the Everyday at Mount Felix in Havre de Grace

Situated in nearby Havre de Grace, Mount Felix is a winery that doubles as  a little escape from the usual, and once you wind up the long gravel driveway, you might as well be a world away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday life. The views are world-class, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and the wines are truly something special.

Most folks come for the tasting flights, and for the low price of $7-$8 per person, enjoy either a dry or sweet flight of Mount Felix’s selection. A combination flight is just $15, and for the generous pours, it’s a true bargain. Pack a bit of cheese and crackers, and plan to take a walk around the grounds before you go. But be sure to keep an eye on the calendar. Mount Felix is a popular event venue (which sometimes occupies the roof-top terrace or one of the rooms).
